Ohioans have another new choice in low priced airlines. Skybus made its inaugural flight from Port Columbus International Airport to Burbank California this morning. The company has sold one way flights for as low as ten dollars. Maggie and Jack Calais of suburban Columbus were able to get in on that deal.
Skybus president Bill Diffenderfer says the first flight from Port Columbus was full....with 140 passengers on board. He says upcoming flights are booked full through June and July. By mid June, Skybus will be offering non stop flights from Columbus to eight popular cities throughout the United States. |
