Some residents of Findlay are starting to go back to their flood damaged homes while others are still waiting in shelters. Officials there continue to pump water out of homes and businesses in the northwest Ohio town. Tom Hunter of the Ohio Emergency Management Agency says the past twenty four hours in that town have been scary.
Authorities are watching areas of Putnam county. Hunter says the water level in Ottawa rose by a foot overnight. More rain is expected in many of the flood ravaged areas of Ohio today. |
