In its largest single unit deployment since World War II, the Ohio National Guard is conducting send-off ceremonies around the state for 1,600 guard members from Ohio and 950 from Michigan. They're headed to Kuwait to support U-S operations in southern Iraq. But, many of the troops say they'll keep track and vote in the U-S presidential election. From Ohio Public Radio Station WOSU in Columbus, Tom Borgerding reports. |
