Last year, state senators okayed a proposal they said would keep Ohio electricity bills from skyrocketing. By a vote of 32-0, senators approved a bill to keep government price controls on electricity, instead of letting prices float in a free market, starting next year. Now, though, some key leaders in the Ohio House are declaring they want to change that measure, so that the free market approach is still a big option. Some consumer advocates are worried about that. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
