Ohio lawmakers have passed a bill that meant to crack down on repeat drunk drivers. Sponsoring Sen. Tim Grendell says he determined it was necessary after a drunk driver with 11 prior DUI convictions caused the auto accident that killed two Hiram college students a couple of years ago. Grendell says this bill will protect Ohioans.
The bill has passed in both the House and the Senate. It now goes to Gov. Strickland for his signature. |
