Backers of a plan that would provide Ohioans with seven paid sick days a year are circulating petitions to put their issue on the fall ballot. Business groups are mounting a campaign to oppose the measure this fall. Gov. Ted Strickland says he's still hoping the two sides will come to a compromise. Strickland hasn't taken a position on the sick leave proposal. |
