Order Online : "The State of Ohio"

As John McCain comes to his old district, governor comes in to campaign for Barack Obama.
By Jason Koma - July 9, 2008
Gov. Ted Strickland didn't let the appearance of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in his old stomping grounds go unnoticed. Strickland went to Portsmouth today, where Sen. John McCain was campaigning. He described a possible McCain administration as a "third Bush term" of policies Americans are rejecting, and he touted the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The Ohio Republican Party issued a statement that read in part: "Ted Strickland should be focusing on Ohio's faltering economy, not holding partisan press conferences and making political attacks."
