Ohioans are speaking out on proposed federal reforms for credit card companies. Those changes would prevent companies from charging customers certain fees or raising interest rates on pre-existing balances. Cordray says he believes the outpouring of opinion by credit card customers will resonate with federal regulators. Cordray says, without this kind of public pressure, the proposed rules could be watered down or dropped altogether. |
