Authorities in east central Ohio have made a huge pot bust. More than 5,000 marijuana plants were found in a remote field in Muskingum county near the Perry County line. Mike Lecoke of the Muskingum County sheriff's office says the two departments worked together after seven people were arrested on felony drug possession charges this weekend. And there was evidence that those who were arrested had been living in the fields with those plants, to protect them. Lecoke estimates the street value of the drugs is around $5 million. |
