For weeks, "early voting" was about casting a ballot before election day. Today, "early voting" means getting there by 9am. And by that time, most of the registered voters at a polling place on Columbus' southeast side had already cast their ballots. That included about 125 who voted in person, and nearly four times that many who voted early. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen talked with precinct judge Ann Silverman.
Early in the morning, dozens of people stood in line at that polling place. But by 9 o'clock, there was no line at all. |
