Southern Ohio city being battered by bad economy, census report says.

A census report says Portsmouth and two college towns, Athens and Oxford, are among Ohio cities that have paid a steep price for a sluggish economy. While thousands of students in Athens and Oxford may have skewed the figures, the Census Bureau says the poverty rate in Portsmouth nearly doubled during the last nine years. Sam Hendren of Ohio Public Radio station WOSU reports.
