Gov. Ted Strickland's State of the State speech next week may be the most important address he's ever given, what with a gaping $7 billion hole in the next budget cycle. Tax hikes have been largely dismissed as an option, and some say the state can't cut enough spending to get out of this deficit. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler talked to two budget experts have some ideas about what can be done. |
