AG goes after two companies that say they'll help foreclosure victims.
By Jo Ingles - January 23, 2009
Ohio's Attorney General is suing two Cincinnati companies that don't deliver on their promises to help Ohioans who are in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Richard Cordray says the scam is targeting people through a direct mail scheme.

Cordray says there are community groups and state affiliated programs that legitmately help Ohioans who face foreclosure. He says the lawsuit charges these companies with breaking Ohio's consumer sales practices act. The businesses face thousands of dollars in fines and damages.
