FirstEnergy nearly had to shut down a power plant in eastern Ohio because of an EPA lawsuit over the pollution it was releasing into the air. Instead, it's cleaning up the plant, turning it into a facility that will burn renewable materials found in almost every back yard. Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler reports. |
