Attorney general getting some heat for many hires since taking over in January.

Ohio's new attorney general has been doing a lot of hiring during his first three months in office. Richard Cordray hired 52 additional people since he took office in January. But Cordray says he had to hire some staff because former attorney General Nancy Rogers did not fill positions when they became vacant because she wanted her successor to do that. Cordray says the payroll for the office is actually down.

Cordray's hiring decisions comes at a time when Gov. Strickland has been asking agencies to slash their budget.
