Senators aren't coming back till December to fix the budget, after failing to pass a GOP plan that included part of the rollback of a 4.2% income tax cut that passed the House a few weeks ago. And the GOP budget balancing plan also didn't include something that was in the House-approved proposal - a pay cut for lawmakers. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler has more. |
