| Stalemate on Senate solution to hole in spending plan goes on. |

That impasse in the Ohio legislature over how to fill a projected $851 million hole in the state budget is continuing, with no end in sight. Some of the Republicans who dominate the Senate have agreed to go along with a plan pushed by Democrats to delay this year's 4.2% cut in the state income tax. But the Republicans are asking for something in return - changes in rules for state building projects. And the Democrats don't like that idea. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
