Republican candidate for governor starting election year by blasting Strickland on jobs and taxes.
By Bill Cohen - January 12, 2010
Republican Gubernatorial candidate John Kasich was in Cincinnati earlier today to talk to business leaders about economic development. He told the group that Ohio must cut the tax burden on businesses in order to create new jobs.

The Ohio Democratic Party says Democratic Governor Ted Strickland has kept taxes low, reduced the size of government and cut down on red tape facing small businesses. The party points out the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council recently name Ohio 11th in the nation for having a friendly climate for small business. That's up for 38th the year before Strickland took office.
