A proposal to slap a six month moratorium on many Ohio home foreclosures passed the Ohio House of Representatives last May, but ever since, it's been in limbo in the Senate. Backers finally got the Senate Finance Committee to hold its first hearing on the measure today. But Republicans who dominate the panel still appear skeptical. Statehouse coqrespondent Bill Cohen reports. |
