Once again, kids of all ages shine in annual Martin Luther King Jr. oratory contest.

Each year, the state invites students of all ages to participate in the Martin Luther King Junior oratory contest. Here are some highlights from the winners honored this year.



Those are the voices of Egypt Burnette, a 1st grader of Columbus....Reagan Shull, a 5th grader of Toledo....Masala Zaccheus, a 4th grader of Columbus...Taylor Wynn, a 5th grader of South Euclid...Simone Young, a 7th grader of Columbus....and Caitlyn Merkel, a high school sophomore in Lima. They are the winners of last year's Martin Luther King Junior Statewide Oratorical Contest. This year's contest will be held in April at the King Arts Complex in Columbus.
