A new report shows more than ten percent of Ohioans got food from one of the state's 12 foodbanks last year. Lisa Hamler Fugitt of the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks says this study shows the situation is worse now than just four years ago. |

| Hamler Fugitt says much of the increase is due to people in suburban areas of cities who were once thought to be insulated from the economic crisis. She says 44% of the households served by the state's foodbanks either don't have food or don't know where their next meal is coming from. That's an 18% increase over the last report that was conducted by the foodbanks four years ago. |
