Governor suggests Supreme Court building be renamed in honor of Chief Justice, who died Friday.
By Bill Cohen - April 5, 2010
If Ohio's governor gets his way, the name of State Supreme Court Chief Justice Tom Moyer who died on Friday will live on, through the Ohio Supreme Court building in Columbus that he helped guide through a massive renovation a decade ago. The building that features art deco architecture was restored to its original grandeur from the 1930s, and Strickland says Moyer should be honored for that.

Gov. Strickland figures that renaming the downtown Columbus Supreme Court building after Moyer would be a popular move because the Republican chief justice was well-respected by Democrats and Republicans alike.
