Ohio voters have given a resounding endorsement to the idea of renewing the state's Third Frontier Program. That's the program that lets state government borrow hundreds of millions of dollars and hand the money to small, high-tech companies that are on the verge of applying new scientific breakthroughs to new products. The renewal proposal was Issue 1 on the statewide ballot. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports on the vote tally and the reaction. |
