Attorney General Richard Cordray says he's put together a group of 21 people who will come up with guidelines for how sexual assault kits should be handled.
Cordray says the state already has robots that can test DNA effectively and he's adding more of them in the coming months. He says four of the robots will be dedicated to handling only sexual assault kits. And he hopes the commission will come up with a set of guidelines so that county law enforcement agencies will be handling those kits with some consistency. |
