Watchdog blames state agency and two Ohio companies for driving up costs.

Ohio’s agency that tries to root out corruption inside government says the state transportation department has overpaid for road salt by tens of millions of dollars over the past decade. The Inspector General charges that the transportation agency is partly to blame, and so are two major salt companies. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has details.
