New agency appointee says he's ready to lead department that could be partly privatized.
By Jo Ingles - January 8, 2011
Gov.-elect John Kasich has tapped a former state legislator to be Ohio's next Director of Commerce. David Goodman says he's accepted this responsibility because he wants to be part of the team that makes big changes to the way state government operates.

Kasich has charged Goodman with cutting through the red tape of the commerce department. The Gov.-elect has also chosen Christine Money to head the Ohio Department of Youth Services. She's been acting as the interim director of that agency in recent weeks.
