Gov. John Kasich says he’s starting putting together plans for his public private board that will replace Ohio’s Department of Development. He says the idea will be to provide businesses with stability, reduce regulations, and give them incentives to locate and stay in the Buckeye State. He says there’s a lot of work to do.
Kasich says his JobsOhio will get a million dollar appropriation from the state and will receive additional public and private funds. Kasich says the board will focus on accountability and transparency. A chief investment officer appointed by the board will run the corporation. |
