Developers of a $300 million racetrack in the Youngstown area showcased their plans today but are still withholding some details on the project. Developers Rick Lertzman and Brad Pressman say that this racetrack will succeed where others are struggling because Ohio is now allowing video slots at the racetracks. Lertzman also says they’re building an elaborate resort around the facility. |

| Lertzman adds that the racetrack would create about 1,000 construction and 1,500 to 2,000 resort jobs for the Mahoning Valley area. Ohio has seven other racetracks including Northfield and Thistledown in Northeast Ohio. It’s also building four casinos which are expected to open next year. |
