The head of the Ohio AFL-CIO was predictably unhappy about the vote in the Senate to pass the controversial bill on collective bargaining. TIm Burga says the vote shows Republican Senators weren't listening to the thousands of Ohioans who turned out at the Statehouse for protests over the last few weeks - and the many more who didn't, but still oppose the bill.
Burga won't speculate on the possibility of a ballot issue if the bill passes, but does say that court challenges are likely if the bill becomes law. |
