Gov. John Kasich says the decision by Chrysler to invest $72 million in its Toledo machining plant and retain 640 jobs there is just the latest symbol of the state’s new pro-business climate. Kasich met with top officials of Chrysler, GM, and Ford in Detroit today. Afterwards, he told reporters all three of the automakers like recent changes in Ohio.
Kasich and other Republicans have pushed for lower taxes and what they call more reasonable government regulation of business. |
