All 88 Ohio counties will be able to mail absentee ballot applications to every registered voter in next year’s presidential election. The move is part of an agreement reached by Democratic Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted. The two had been fighting for weeks over Cuyahoga’s defiance of the Secretary of State over the mailings. WKSU’s Kevin Niedermier reports on the details of the compromise that has ended the fight for now. |
