Head of world's largest backer of medical research picks his top concerns for health in the US.

The National Institutes of Health is the largest funder of medical research in the world, from genetic mapping to stem cell therapy to unlocking the puzzle of Alzheimer's. Last week the head of NIH, Dr. Francis Collins, spoke at the City Club and with WCPN reporter Anne Glausser. She asked him to identify the most pressing health issues facing Americans today. Collins put prevention of chronic diseases right at the top of the list.
