This week on "The State of Ohio": State lawmakers consider what they can do in the wake of the horrible and yet miraculous escape story out of Cleveland involving three women held prisoner in a house for a decade. New data shows more than half of all violent crimes are committed by a very small numbers of offenders. Lawmakers are now working to target that tiny group. Civil rights group and state's top right-to-life organization face off on new abortion-related bill.

There were seven abortion-related measures signed into law in Ohio last year. And the nation’s leading civil rights group is suing the state over one of them. Ohio Public Radio’s Karen Kasler sat down with the head of the group that fought for the law, and a leader in the organization that’s fighting against it.
