Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": State lawmakers consider what they can do in the wake of the horrible and yet miraculous escape story out of Cleveland involving three women held prisoner in a house for a decade. Elections group says Ohio shouldn’t repeal and replace election reform this year.
By Jo Ingles - January 30, 2012
Some key Republicans in Ohio have talked about the idea of repealing the election reform law that's up for a statewide referendum this fall. Democrats, who say the controversial new law encourages voter supression, successfully mounted a signature campaign to put the issue on the November 2012 ballot. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Greg Moore, the Campaign Director of Fair Elections Ohio, explains why repealing it and replacing it with another election reform plan is probably not a good idea right now.

Moore's group says there should not be any changes to election law in Ohio between the primary and the general elections so that voters don't become confused.
