Hundreds of jobs are coming to central Ohio as part of an expansion by an internet-based kids’ clothing company. The online retailer Zulily, based in Seattle, plans to add 600 jobs to a fulfillment center in Obetz south of Columbus in the next five years. Gov. John Kasich says Zulily picked Ohio because the state has been showcasing its logistics, technology and transportation in trying to bring in more jobs.
This is Zulily’s second distribution center – the other one is in Nevada. Kasich says the state has also been talking to the CEO of Zulily to find out if there are other companies that the online retailer works with that Ohio can try to make deals with. |
