New polls are now giving former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney a slight edge over former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in the race for the Republican Presidential nomination in Ohio. Last week, at this time, Santorum held a seven point or more lead among likely GOP voters in the Buckeye state, depending on the poll. Romney’s ascent in the past week gives him the momentum going in to Election Day. But what happens if Democrats or independents want to vote for one of the GOP candidates? Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles takes a look at how that could affect the outcome. |
