Mega Millions mania sweeping Ohio as record-setting drawing nears.
By Jo Ingles - March 30, 2012
Many Ohioans are dreaming big today after buying tickets for tonight’s Mega Millions lottery drawing. The jackpot is now more than $640 million. The Ohio lottery estimates it will sell $20 million worth of tickets between the last drawing and tonight’s drawing. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo ingles, the Ohio Lottery’s Marie Kilbane explains despite high volume sales, there haven’t been major problems.

Here’s another thing to think about. Your odds of winning the lottery improve with the number of tickets purchased. However, if you buy ten tickets, your odds are still 10 in 176 million. If no one wins tonight’s drawing, it’s possible the next mega millions drawing could be worth nearly three quarter of a billion dollars.
