New data shows more than half of all violent crimes are committed by a very small numbers of offenders. Lawmakers are now working to target that tiny group. Some schoolkids not going hungry this summer thanks to free lunches and take-home food.

During the school year, thousands of Ohio children from low-income families receive discount-priced or free lunches in the cafeteria. But what happens in the summer, when school is out? Some kids are able to get free lunches at parks and playgrounds. And, as Ohio Public Radio’s Bill Cohen reports, some children are even getting food to take home.
