Governor says he hasn't been coached by GOP candidate on how to "spin" economic numbers.

An article in Bloomberg says Mitt Romney ‘s campaign has asked Florida Governor Rick Scott to downplay improvements in that state’s economy because they clash with the Republican presidential nominee’s message that the nation is suffering under Democratic President Barack Obama. Ohio Gov. John Kasich says the campaign has not asked him to do that.

Ohio’s jobless rate is 7.3%. Kasich says that’s way too high. And he says Ohio could do far better if Romney were elected president.
