Chair of Democratic National Committee stumps in Toledo, predicts Dems will be outspent.
By Emily McCord - July 2, 2012
The head of the Democratic national committee was in Toledo this weekend, reinforcing the themes of President Obama’s campaign- jobs and the economy. Debbie Wasserman Schultz comes days before Obama is set to visit Ohio as part of a two day bus tour. Wasserman Schultz says the battleground state is crucial to winning the election and while recent polling numbers have been good for the President in Ohio, Republican hopeful Mitt Romney out fund-raised Obama in May. Wasserman Schultz says that’s likely to continue.

Wasserman Schultz says the average contribution to the Obama campaign is $50. Even though the Romney campaign has raised more money however, he and his supporting SuperPacs have spent 1/3 of the money that Obama team has on television ads nationwide.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-New York) (:19)
