A state legislator says he's a got a compromise way to solve a complex dispute between landowners along Lake Erie on the one hand, and environmental activists and government natural resources regulators on the other. The activists, though, aren't buying the so-called compromise. That could lead to a long battle in the legislature and in the courts. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
