Jane Campbell officially became Cleveland's 55th mayor at midnight on Sunday,
but her ceremonial inauguration took place Monday at the historic State theater.
She made no mention of her unprecedented election as the city's first female mayor,
but did talk about the economic challenges lying ahead. |

| Campbell paid tribute to outgoing mayor Michael White, despite the fact that White was not present at the inauguration. This afternoon Mayor Campbell will swear-in her cabinet. New city council officers be sworn in tonight. |
