The Federal Drug Enforcement Administration is urging Ohio farmers to lock
up their fertilizers. An odd request, perhaps? Not really. It turns out they are
being used by drug dealers to make methamphetamines, known on the street as speed,
crank or ice. In the Cincinnati area alone, police have raided 46 meth labs, and
its becoming a big enough problem that Ohio state legislators are taking notice.
Marianne Russ drove out to ask farmers how they feel about the drug problem that
is invading their livelihood. |
