An Ohio University political science professor will be asking one of the questions in the debate tonight between Governor Bob Taft and challenger Tim Hagan. Lysa Burnier and nine other professors from five state universities will serve as panelists in this second campaign question and answer session. Each will get one question. Burnier says she will ask about the candidates' leadership abilities, particularly in regard to the Appalachian counties of Ohio. She wants to see if Taft and Hagan can demonstrate a familiarity with that part of the state. |

| Burnier says the panelists have discussed among themselves what questions they will ask and all sorts of issues will be raised. Higher education, diversity and the economy are some of the other subject areas. Fifteen of Burnier's students will go with her to the debate in Columbus and be in the audience tonight, along with six other OU political communication students. |
