Now that electricity has been restored to almost all of the more than 400-thousand Ohio houses and businesses that fell victim to last week’s ice storm. some people are asking if many of the power outages could have been avoided. One consumer advocate says – perhaps what’s needed are uniform guidelines that would require utility companies to do more tree-trimming. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
