Backers of that package of Ohio election reform issues lost big in Tuesday’s election…but they insist the spirit of their movement will live on. Even though voters rejected the four proposed constitutional amendments by huge margins….activists who endorsed them promise they will keep up the pressure on state legislators to put a damper on corruption. Meanwhile, republicans who dominate the legislature are leaving the door open to changes that would crack down on scandals. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
