The Ohio Board of Regents, the agency that oversees state universities, has put its search for a new leader on hold, because state legislators are talking about totally revamping the job of Regents Chancellor and perhaps even wiping out the regents board entirely. Meanwhile, Governor Ted Strickland is endorsing the plan for change that could give him more power over higher education. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has the story. |
