Casino backers ready to roll the dice on a ballot issue, and finding some surprising support.

It's likely that in November, Ohio voters will get a chance to vote on whether to authorize a $600 million casino complex near Wilmington. That's about halfway between Columbus and Cincinnati. The reason a vote is likely is that casino backers are now wrapping up a well-financed drive to collect enough petition signatures to put the proposed constitutional amendment onto the ballot. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports that not everyone who's signing the petitions fits the stereotype.
