An Ohio University expert says there are tremendous opportunities for Southeast Ohio in this new green economy. OU's Scott Miller moderated a panel discussion yesterday about the new energy economy. It took place during day two of the Appalachian Regional Commission conference in Athens.
Miller is director of Energy and Environment Programs in O-U's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. Another O-U prof moderated a panel, too. Carole Womeldorf guided a discussion about wind power in Appalachia.
Today is the third and final day of the A-R-C conference, which focused on job creation in today's energy economy. |
