Watch This Week's "The State of Ohio" Online
Order Online : "The State of Ohio"
This week on "The State of Ohio": State lawmakers consider what they can do in the wake of the horrible and yet miraculous escape story out of Cleveland involving three women held prisoner in a house for a decade. New data shows more than half of all violent crimes are committed by a very small numbers of offenders. Lawmakers are now working to target that tiny group. And more thoughts on legislation that would dramatically change rules on unions in Ohio.

Political, legal leaders remember Chief Justice as gentleman and scholar who loved the law.
By Karen Kasler - April 8, 2010
Chief Justice Thomas Moyer will lie in state in the Ohio Judicial Center today - it's an opportunity for the public to mourn him before his funeral and burial tomorrow. And people who knew him in a variety of roles are still praising him a week after his sudden death. Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler talked to some of them.

We'll have more on Chief Justice Tom Moyer on this week's "The State of Ohio" on PBS stations statewide.
